WELCOME TO THE SOPHISTAPIRATE COVE

SophistaPirates is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing public access to arts, culture, and creative education.

We create immersive artistic spaces, fund and install large-scale art projects, and offer creative grants that empower individuals to engage in radical self-expression and community building.

Our programs bring transformative art experiences to underserved and rural communities, inspiring exploration, connection, and cultural enrichment for the public.

This year, for the first time, SophistaPirates is bringing a full theme camp to Burning Man.

Find SophistaPirate Cove at 3:15 & Esplanade, where shaded lounges give way to late-night music, interactive art, workshops, performances, and just enough mischief to keep the legends alive.
